Again this year I participated in the Accessory Exchange hosted by Bree of Coco Rose Couture.

I was paired up with Shanyn. Here are my wonderful goodies I received for Shanyn, a super cute embellished cap in my favorite color, a beautiful bracelet in brown and turquoise and a very special chocolate bar.

I love everything I received.

Here's what i sent to Shanyn. A washer with "keep calm and carry on" stamped around it and a small disc in the center with her son's name on it and a crown. Keep calm and carry on is Shanyn's favorite quote and I wanted to combine that with her son's name.

This exchange in always so much fun. I loved it.

When I was a little girl I had a purple bedroom complete with purple and white shag carpet and flocked wallpaper. In case it's not obvious, I grew up in the 70s.

Purple was my favorite color and now my daughter is quite fond of it.

The 40th Annual Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree

I can't believe the Jamboree is only a week away.

I'll be setting up my jewelry in a different location this year. Several vendors will be in the old Playground Kids building at 103 W. Main Street in Smithville. That's right in the middle of town. Come inside to take a break from the heat and check out the vendors in there.

During the Jamboree I'll be offering my glass tile necklace for only $5 including the ribbon necklace of your choice. These are the last of the glass tiles but there is still a good selection so it's a great time to pick up some gifts or a few for yourself.

I'll also be offering many styles of the hand stamped jewelry in both sterling silver and the new stainless steel.

I can't wait to see you all there. We open around 9 am each day and will stay open as long as people are still out and shopping so come early for the best selection.

A couple of months ago my son proposed to his girlfriend and she happily accepted. Last weekend they had some beautiful engagement pictures made by some good friends of ours.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I can't thank our friends Jamie and Lisa enough for what they did for these pictures. It was so HOT that day. They worked with the happy couple for more than 4 hours at 3 different locations, the farm that we live on, our farm about 4 miles away and the gazebo where he proposed.

We are so thrilled with how they turned out. They could not have been any better.

Thanks again guys!
